Ucwalmícwts Language

In-SHUCK-ch Nation sponsors Ucwalmícwts classes to support the active preservation of our living language. Participants range from fluent to beginners, and all are welcome.

Every year the class produces various introductory materials such as recordings and vocabulary lists which help the students to remember the lessons.

There is an instructor with an academic background in linguistics and a traditional instructor who learned Ucwalmícwts as part of his life's experience.
