In-SHUCK-ch Nation has now completed most of the negotiations of its final agreement; and now needs to start the process of identifying those individuals that are eligible to enrol for the ratification of the
In-SHUCK-ch Nation Final Agreement.
The primary objective of the committee is to establish the enrolment procedures in accordance to what has been negotiated in the In-SHUCK-ch Nation Final Agreement. The secondary objective of the committee will be to establish the application form, which is now complete. The committee also oversees the enrolment process to ensure that the established procedures are being applied fairly and consistently.
The committee consists of seven members and two employees. The members are Agnes Giesbrecht (Samahquam), Tammy Peters (Samahquam), Sylvester Sam (Skatin), Willamina Jim (Skatin), Cecille Comeau (Douglas), Ramona Linger (Douglas), and Sylvia Shanoss (Samahquam). The Eligibility and Enrolment employees are Lori Vandenberg, Enrolment Coordinator and Alec McLachlan, Enrolment Clerk.
