ELIGIBILITY & ENROLMENTWe have finished negotiating treaty. We now begin the ratification process. This means we must identify individuals who will be eligible to enrol and therefore able to vote in ratification, and ultimately, to benefit from treaty. To oversee this process, we’ve established the Enrolment Committee made up of seven members and one (non-voting) staff. These are Agnes Giesbrecht and Tammy Peters (Samahquam), Sylvester Sam and Willamina Jim (Skatin), Cecille Comeau and Ramona Linger (Douglas), and Sylvia Shanoss (at-large). They’ll be supported by Lori Vandenberg. The committee is responsible for creating the application form and establishing the enrolment procedures in accordance with the provisions in the Final Agreement. The committee also ensures that the procedures are applied fairly and consistently. And, so, we are now accepting and processing your Enrolment Applications! When you’ve completed the form:
