EldersIn-SHUCK-ch Elders group, also known as Skelkela7lhkálha, are very involved in the community. They gather once a month, in the community and the Fraser Valley, bringing together families, friends, and youth. The elders Reps are working together to create a Society for Skelkela7lhkálha and get a charitable number to apply for funds that will help the community at large. All of their fundraising efforts pay off when they attend the annual Elders Conference. Their hope is to encourage youth to become involved, informed citizens and provide guidance for community spiritual events so the history is passed onto youth.
